Technically Infoprint Server and the CPYSPLF *PDF transform functionality should be based on the same code base.

You can write exit points to capture the Infoprint Server output as well.

I have written integrations to it in the past, but CPYSPLF should work theoretically.

Hi Stephen,

How about copying the IPDS to AFP, then the AFP to PDF?

Two steps, but maybe better than InfoPrint server.

Hello All,

I need to convert existing IPDS spool files to PDF.
CPYSPLF using WSCST(*PDF) results in an error stating that
'transform program does not exist for data stream *IPDS'.

All the open source conversion tools I have accumulated over the
years only work with SCS and AFP.
Is IBM's Infoprint Server the only solution?

Thanks for any direction you can provide,
