*so I do not know why *IPDS was chosen over *AFPDS*
fyi-there was a time, late 90's early 2000's (V3 or V4) that certain page
requirements required *IPDS instead of *AFPDS (I confirmed this at Common,
IBM print stream specialist ), something like page rotation including
barcodes plus font changes in duplex (tri-fold mailer form with barcode on
diff folds). It still runs, less complex, with *AFPDS now. nntr
