I take it, the term "mistaken" is your personal opinion. Please recognize that others might have different opinions, based on differences on how they work with the system. Including muscle-memory.

For some quick and dirty CL program in a restricted state, I could use EDTF. And there's your lightweight equivalent to notepad.

No, it's not. IMHO. Edtf is more cumbersome to use than SEU and not likewise neatly integrated into wrkmbrpdm. Also: muscle-memory. Also, I'd not strictly count SEU as being a development tool. It's an editor for text contained in members of files. But this in turn is my personal opinion.
