Folks:

The Apache foundation has released SpamAssassin 3.0 the other day (http://spamassassin.apache.org).

I just installed it on my mail server. It's working fine.

I *HIGHLY* recommend you read the upgrade docs if you are upgrading. I didn't and ended up loosing all my bayes data (mainly because I was stupid). When the program displays a database error, just ignore it. It's actually upgrading the DB. Now I have to re-train SA :(

Two of the features I like a lot are 1) Bayes & whitelist data can be stored in a database, and 2) support of Spam URI Realtime Blocklists (http://www.surbl.org).
