Thunderbird is only e-mail, not calendaring. There's an extension called "Lightning" however that adds a calendar as an extension. It puts the calendar inside of Thunderbird so that the calendar and e-mail are in one window. That's what I use.

There's also Mozilla Sunbird which is a calendar program that's separate from Thunderbird. It's really the same tool, just in a separate window. Sunbird is easier to use, IMHO, than Lightning, but I find it inconvienient to have two separate windows open, so I use Lightning.

Neither one has as many calendar features as Outlook
I store my calendar files on an HTTP server which lets me access them from everywhere, which is awesme for me.

I am thinking about it to as I am having a lot of trouble with Outlook. Is
the calendaring any good? How reliable is the mail client? Etc. etc. Any
thought from experienced users welcome.
