The calendaring is fair ... probably not as robust as Outlook's.  I use 
it with the Google Calendar 'provider' add-on, which makes it a bit 
nicer than the default mode (I think).  This let's me store my calendar 
information on Google so it can be shared with other people & such.

For that it is rock solid.  I've been using it for years and won't go 
back to anything else.
