The right docking station does. It's actually from the Latitude C series
but still works on the D series as the dock connector didn't change. I use
it on my D830. It appears Dell doesn't sell it any more but Googling for
"D830 docking station" revealed this one:
http://www.parts4nb.com/catalogue/product/dell-latitude-d830--docking-stationwhich
is what I have. It has Gb Ethernet, VGA, DVI, power, 4 USB 2.0,
headphone, serial/parallel, ps/2 for mouse & kbd, the Dell proprietary TV
out connector (supports a pigtail with composite & S-video out as well as
audio out), and the ever popular Kensington lock slot (which locks the
laptop into the dock & to the cable). The one I linked to is too expensive;
maybe it can be found cheaper elsewhere.

But even that likely won't solve the audio issue.

Unfortunately, the D830 docking station doesn't seem to have DVI Out.

I did find this at Dell. It costs a little more but I have more
confidence that it would work.

They're just reselling that. And it doesn't support 1080p.

I hadn't thought about audio in the HDMI cable. I'm used to separate
audio/video cables. If I did try to cable it together, if it did work
there probably wouldn't be any sound.

You'll need a laptop which is capable of that - meaning a recent
graphic card and an appropriate port. They're probably few and far
between.
