I currently have analysis paralysis. I'm looking at the Nikon D90 or D5000,
the Canon EOS 50D, or the Pentax K-7. So consequently, I haven't bought

ever make a move. Bleah...

Personally, I can attest to the quality of the Canon EOS DSLR line. I've had a Digital Rebel, 30D (now in my wifes possession) and currently have a 40D. I haven't upgraded to the 50D, although I might upgrade to the follow on.

I know that Martin Rowe (dbg400.net) has a Nikon D50 and it takes great pictures.

The only problem with the 'pro-sumer' cameras & accessories is that that they don't retain their value for resale. Higher end equipment, like the Canon EOS 5D and "L" series lenses, do.
