Well shoot.

I noticed that the extra 100mb 'system' partition that Win7 added wasn't active ... so I marked it as active in the disk manager ... and the system hibernated!

Unfortunately, this seems to have screwed up Grub2 somehow ... when I try to boot, Grub2 reports 'unknown file system'.

And I don't have a system recovery DVD with me.

I'll have to fix it when I get home.
