I suspect that won't work with my house ... I wasn't able to get a phone jack to work over the power line, so I'm thinking that ethernet wouldn't work well either.

I was thinking of doing a number of home run's from the basement to the attic and then into the individual rooms, but that's a lot of wire to haul. I *think* I can get one wire up to the attic without too much difficulty.

I figure once I get that wire up there, I should be able to just use a local switch to redistribute to the rest of the rooms.
