  I was composing my reply when the next message had apparently 
arrived; the instant that I refreshed my view after sending my own 
reply, the newer post was there with [albeit with a later date\time 
than] my post.  Note however that the edit codes A & B use a "right 
negative symbol CR" rather than minus sign.  As well the issue with 
blanks for zero, I believe was still not handled consistent with the 
edit codes.  No matter I suppose, as it is the means that are 
important, and achieving the desired results an exercise for the reader.
