Ping and get a reply, you meant to say, right?

Example, on my AS/400, I can ping and resolve Yahoo.com. But, I don't get a
reply because of the proxy used. So, that means I couldn't print to a
printer on the internet.

Or could I? I've never tried, I'm just assuming.
