Bruce,

You can use Net.Data to create includes as well as regular HTML pages. So
you can keep most of the page as static HTML and reference a Net.Data
generated page in an include statement. I can't speak to performance as I
haven't tried it in production.

With some judicious use of cache controls, it might perform pretty well.

Thanks the Main page will not be a static page. News information and links
will change on a reg. basis. I have already down loaded all manuals and
have been reading my a%% off on them. If you all have any tips on
performance on the server or using net.data that would be great. I see most
applications on our box as being dynamic at this time.

Bruce,

I'd begin by downloading the Net.Data manuals in PDF format from the
iSeries
Library. There's a tutorial and reference guide available.

I'd caution about using Net.Data for static pages, however. The little bit
of extra control you get may not be worth the degraded performance.
