Mike,

I think you can do this. Check the mailing list archives (and maybe the
forum as well) for what it takes to do this. Bleddyn Williams went
through this a few years ago and I'm pretty sure he outlined the steps
he had to take.

Subject: [WEB400] Global certificates on iSeries

Does anyone know if a global certificate, like the ones issued by
InstanSSL http://www.instantssl.com/ can be used on a V5R3 iSeries ?
We use a Verisign certificate now but all of our intel based servers
have moved to InstantSSL since they charge a fee to register our domain
(*.pct.edu) and we can have as many lower level domains as we want
without getting additional certificates. (e.g. sis.pct.edu, ais.pct.edu,
www.pct.edu, ca5250.pct.edu)
