I've used Websmart at a customer for 5 years. It has been a very good product,
and was instrumental in getting a large order entry app online very quickly.
The developer language is pretty easy to learn, yet full of function,
and extendable (you can add your own routines into the language).
For an RPG programmer, html was the biggest hurdle, but Websmart has
tools and samples to help.
Don't let the "server programs" bother you. They are the service programs
for the generated code, and error recovery.
Support has always been good.
contact me offline (email) if you need more.

Has anyone used BCD's WebSmart for web development? What's your opinion
on it?

My superiors are looking into getting this for our shop.
