Not bad ... much better than other code generators. Of course you need RBD to debug the EGL (and write it, of course). If you write in Java or RPG, you can debug in more generally available tools (Eclipse, JDB, or jswat for Java ... green screen or WDSC for RPG). But that's a whole different discussion that I think we should avoid at this point <grin/>.

I would still be worried that EGL would generate code that manifested an error that the debugger couldn't handle ... but that's just nay saying.
