Come on Nathan! Even YOU use an IDE to make yourself more efficient. You don't code your HTML with notepad, you use Dreamweaver. In EGL I am not using DW to design my page and then jumping to WDSc (or SDA) to code my RPG. I drop the item on page (just like you) but in my case I right click and access the server code I need to write and when I return to the page design view, ALL the objects I just coded are available to me in my page design view.

You disparage the approach like it is somehow less. Write your code in assembler then with no IDE. Be a real programmer!

Pete

Good night to Joe's list!!!

There's one thing I can say in favor of RDI-SOA and EGL. It's the type of technology that appeals to users of Visual Studio and MS .Net. You'd probably like it. Return to the fold, brother ;-)
