And why do you think it ain't that easy? It is only that way because there is no simple template engine in RPG. At my site we have simple template engine and it does exactly that: take a html with some tags, merges the html template with the data passed with a container (map) and outputs a string which can easily be written to stdout.

Of course you need some basic understanding of HTML because you need to know where to put your tags.

that everybody knows that RPG-CGI isn't simply creating a static page in
