Gents;

We have made a tiny application server that wraps all the TAPI functions. This server is installed on the windows based client PC, and you browserbased application can then interface with TAPI using simple AJAX calls on the loopback 127.0.0.1

We have made callcenter solution using that - so you can wait for incoming calls, initiate a new etc.

The only downside is that you need to enable cross domaine acces in your browser .

It is free for you guys at

http://www.icebreak.org/tools.htm

and download the WebTAPI tool...

Best regards

I've created a RichUI application in which I'd like to add the ability to
dial a phone number when a phone number is clicked.

This logic currently exists in a legacy rpg program by way of a call to a C
application residing on the users pc that dials the number.

The web application exists on windows server 2003 that is running Apache
Tomcat/6.0.18. All backend processing is done on an iseries. The phone
system is avaya.

Im not sure how to accomplish this. I was hoping someone could point me in
the right direction.
