It's not too often you pay me a compliment so I guess I have to point out a
slight misinterpretation

When I said

"No doubt I am behind the times....." I meant ME not the IBMi ;-)

But thanks for that anyway, and by the way just how long does it take before
an RFC gets to the published RFC stage? I'm sure I read about Web Sockets
and HTML5 before Dec 2011?

Note the date of the RFC... December of 2011. Hmm... not too far behind if
you ask me :-)
