I guess that's true of some parts of HTML5 (IndexDB, maybe even Websockets) -- but other parts are already in widespread use.

Everyone has been able to view HTML source, _always_, since the Web was first invented in 1990. That's not an aspect of HTML5! And surely you believe that the World Wide Web is ready for prime time?!
