People will still be able to open the calendar and see the entries, but
they will not be able to see the subject of the meeting. Instead, they'll
just see the word "Private". My wording was misleading. I hope this
clarifies it for you.

You are correct on points a and b.

I am going with each paragraph below was a separate solution. Let me know

if I'm wrong.

The first solution was to stop allowing everyone from being able to see
the person's calendar. I think I clearly explained as to why I do not
want to do that.

The second was that if I modified the template to flag meetings created by

that person to be private by default then I need to
a - be aware that wouldn't change existing meetings
b - make sure that a design refresh, or a later upgrade doesn't remove
that flag for meetings created after the upgrade.

But, if I read that wrong and you were trying to say something else, I'd
love to hear more.
