Their are additional concerns with this configuration.

In order to run APPC through routers in your network they will need to be
able to do "Transparent Bridging". This is usually not a standard feature on
most routers. Also there are configuration issues associated with running
APPC in a mixed FDDI, Token Ring and Ethernet environment. The MAC address
is modified as it travels between Ethernet and FDDI or T/R...
