Why don't you have them grab the file from you when they want it? Then they
don't have programming changes (or much) and they don't miss part of their
file?

Subject: RE: FTP Problem !

I already tried using a little file as a kind of
acknowledgemnet or receipt of upload so that they i
can identify the finish & delete it every time ....
But my buss. partner is reluctent to use this
mechanism as they need to put lot of programming
efforts on their side & needs to change many common
FTP scripts. And I guess, it might not be feasible all
times as we are uploading for every 15 min through
submit jobs. Sometimes these outbound jobs lag in
queues and executes in a row!

Any way could you please put more about using
environment variables?

And is there any mechanism to hide or block the
files until i finish uploading ?
or
can i move or copy all files from folder TEMP to
folder INBOX (both on Unix server) through my FTP
connection?

Thanks in advance,
Ravi
