I do need a version that will allow me to compile it into an executable so it can run unattended and I don't think the basic versions will allow that. This program will eventually retrieve the data from the AS/400 (yes, I am thinking about using the Client Access file transfer given the headaches this is causing), put it into a pre-formatted Excel spreadsheet, and then e-mail the spreadsheet to specified people. If you're just starting with VB it's safe to assume that you don't need enterprise. At worst, spend the $109 for VB.NET and call MS and ask for a VB6 CD, the license should be back-levelable. <clip>
