Is it realistic to expect a major change overnight with the customers? If
as everyone seems to agree on, IBM has neglected the As/400 for as long as
they have then would it not take some time for the customer base to begin
responding?

Considering that they only started running major advertisements and a heavy
push this past year, I for one would not expect major changes in the market
this soon.

If you bought it, it was hauled by a truck - somewhere, sometime.
