Hi, Charles,
We are on V5R2. I tried to restore both A and B to C and to do a CRTDUPOBJ
on these logical files, but the LFs still point to A.
The only way that works so far is to rename A to C and rename B to D, then
restore A and B back from the tape. unfortunately, I can not rename A and
B.

Best Regards.

James,

What version of OS/400 are you on?

You might need to restore the physicals into C, then restore the
logicals into C.

Other option would be to restore the physicals, then use CRTDUPOBJ on
the logicals.

HTH,

Charles Wilt
