I would change your terminology. When you say "authorization lists" I
think WRKAUTL. I am thinking server authority entries, like in
ADDSVRAUTE.

Are you asking what if they do not use ADDSVRAUTE but want to do something
like
CONNECT TO remoteibmi USER myuserid USING mypassword
I don't think that's going to work for this technique. I believe you'll
have to use the server authority entries instead.
