Hmm...so it sounds like a Windows Update broke the manfacturer-supplied
driver, if I understand correctly. I'd probably go with my prior
suggestion to install the available updates individually (or in small
sets) to see which one triggers the failure. Then remove that one and
exclude it from future update suggestions.
