When that happened here a few years back we were very close to going to an
all Linux desktop. That never materialized but we seriously had a bad
taste in our mouth. We try to do what's right. I'll grant you that it
wasn't always this way. There used to be an attitude that if they had one
legal copy of Excel per plant that was enough to put it on the rest of the
computers at that plant. Management's changed. I'll admit, I raised my
objection but did as I was told. Again, that was many years ago. Now if
we don't like the terms and conditions we shop elsewhere.
