AJAX lets you make a server call without submitting the form. You will not be able to use Net.Data inside of JavaScript since Net.Data is server side and JavaScript is client side. This leaves you with two options: 1) Submit the form, 2) Use AJAX (note that you'll still want to validate the form when it's submitted).
