Additionally, Here are the install instructions from MYSQL. I used
this. But I installed Zend and MYSQL separately because they were not
packaged together at the time. If I had do it over again I would use
the Zend install package. And it truly is no charge.

When we installed the Zend Core on our iSeries, there was an option to
install MySQL as well. This may not be exactly what you are seeking. But
it is another way to get MySQL on the iSeries for free.
